What is the Institute for Mediumship, Psychic, Astrological, and Reiki Training (IMPART)?
Over 20 years ago, Dr. Anne Reith created the Institute for Mediumship, Psychic, Astrological, and Reiki Training. Her goal has always remained the same: To serve the needs of those interested in discovering or deepening their connection to Spirit.
To that end, Dr. Anne has created a comprehensive program of classes, services, and educational products that address a wide range of needs:
- Beginning & Intermediate Students: Those wishing to explore their personal interest in metaphysical topics and/or develop their skills as a psychic, medium, healer, or astrologer.
- Advanced Students: Those who are seeking to develop the skills further and deepen their connection to God/Source/Spirit.
- Professional Development: Those who plan to work successfully as competent and ethical professionals in the metaphysical field.
Dr. Anne’s background
Dr. Anne is the Founder and Director of IMPART. She is a Psychologist, a Reiki Master/Teacher, a Karuna Reiki® Master, a DivinePeaceHealer®, and Sai Maa Diksha Practitioner/Teacher.
Previous to entering the metaphysical field, Anne earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She worked for 30 years in university settings as a Psychologist and tenured faculty member. During that time, she always dabbled in metaphysics, including working with runes and providing professional astrological readings.
It wasn’t until 2002 that Anne began her transition out of academia and into full-time spiritual work. She started teaching classes in psychic development, mediumship, channeling, Reiki, astrology, and many other metaphysical subjects. At that time, she also began offering 1-on-1 sessions as an astrologer, psychic, medium, healer, and spiritual coach, both privately and at psychic and healing arts fairs in the Southern California area.

You will find that her classes, this website, her eBooks, lectures, and all of her class handouts and manuals are presented in a way that helps the user better understand the content and find what they need. - Concise: Anne understands that most of you are trying to fit your metaphysical studies around jobs, relationships, families, and various other responsibilities. Therefore, she does her best to provide you with information that is thorough and accurate but also concise.

Astrology courses
Astrology is Dr. Anne’s first passion! She began studying it in her teens and has never stopped!
After working for many years as a professional astrologer, she wanted to start sharing her knowledge and experience. She loved the idea of teaching others how to read their own charts and the charts of those they care about.
Consequently, she has been teaching astrology courses since 2002. As is true with all the subjects that Dr. Anne teaches, one of her gifts is the ability to make complicated information easy to understand. Beginning students often report this to be true. However, even professional astrologers report learning a great deal from her courses.

Psychic and mediumship development classes
Anne has been offering her very popular weekly Psychic Development and Mediumship classes for over two decades. She has created very effective techniques for teaching students how to communicate with their angels, guides, and deceased loved ones using “the clairs” (e.g., clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance).

Reiki training
Reiki is a form of energy healing. In these classes, you will learn how to access “universal life force energy,” thereby enabling you to serve as a conduit or channel of Divine healing energy on a daily basis. You can use this energy to heal yourself, others, animals, and even plants!

- Directory of IMPART Certified Practitioners: For many years, Anne offered Certification Programs for Psychics, Mediums, or Healers. Unfortunately, she had to discontinue these Programs in 2020 due to the impact of the pandemic. However, some of the graduates are now working professionally as psychics, mediums, healers, spiritual coaches, and teachers (e.g., psychic development, mediumship, Reiki). This Directory provides referral information to professionals who have been trained by Dr. Anne and agree to follow IMPART’s Code of Ethics.
