Weighing which theory or approach is right for you

Different theories and approaches

We are constantly presented with a plethora of theories and ideas, many of which contradict each other. It can be so confusing! We aren’t sure which is the “right” belief or the “correct” approach.

These might have to do with what the “best” way is to develop your spiritual skills, such as which is the “right” tool to use, which teacher is the “best” one for you, etc. However, any topic can be confusing. For example, we all are presented with ideas and theories regarding which medical approach would be “best,” what is the “right” political or religious belief, why is this painful event happening right now, and many others.

The following blog post includes:

  • A channeled message from my Council of 12 about how to evaluate the many theories and approaches that we encounter during our lives here on the Earth plane. (NOTE: The Council of 12 is a group of entities that provides me with spiritual guidance when teaching.)
  • Additional information and resources regarding this topic.

The original channeled message was actually delivered toward the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, my Council of 12 felt a need to help humanity try to sort out the many theories that were being posited regarding whether there was a spiritual meaning by hind the pandemic.

However, the Council made it clear that the guidance they wanted to provide wasn’t specific to COVID-19. Although the pandemic motivated them to contact me, they said that their message would apply to theories that we encounter here on the Earth plane.  As you’ll see, I believe this is true!

Channeled message from the Council of 12

As you go through your lives on the Earth plane, you will encounter many different messages and theories about any number of possible topics. Many of these messages will contradict each other.

You often pray to us for guidance when you are feeling uncertain about which idea or approach is the “right” one for you. You are seeking our help to sort out what to believe.

Whenever a major event occurs in your society, theories begin to be presented by diverse groups that think they know “the truth” regarding why they are occurring or how to resolve the problem. Examples of these events could include:

  • Large scale events (e.g., COVID-19 pandemic)
  • Political upheaval
  • Wars or violence
  • Social unrest, injustice, or inequities
  • Religious differences or conflict

However, you can also encounter conflicting theories or ideas as you learn about a new subject. For example, within the field of metaphysics and spirituality, some of these might include:

  • Can people really communicate with angels, guides, and deceased loved ones?
  • Which classes should I take?
  • Which would be the “best” teacher?
  • Which is the “right” tool for me to use (e.g., tarot, runes) or should I not use a tool at all?
  • Which specialty should I pursue (e.g., healing, psychic, medium)?
  • In order to improve my abilities, do I need to become vegetarian/vegan, stop eating meat, stop drinking alcohol, etc?
  • What is the best way to pray?
  • Is there really such a thing as “dark” energy?
  • Is organized religion a “bad” thing?
  • And many other questions with conflicting opinions

You will find that there are always many theories floating around about any number of topics. We are not here to provide you with answers.  We are speaking through Anne because we want to give you guidance about how to evaluate any messages that you might encounter.

The truth is that you do not need us to tell you which messages are accurate and which are not.  Only you will know which messages are meant for you and which are not.  Different people need different messages in order to learn the life lessons that they are ready to learn at this point in time.  This is why there are so many different ideas, options, approaches, etc.

Here is a good “Rule of Thumb” that you might consider when evaluating ANY messages/theories.  The following is aligned with many of the teachers of the Law of Attraction and many metaphysical philosophies:

If a message makes you feel uplifted, empowered, and hopeful, then this is a message that will be helpful to you.  If, on the other hand, a message leaves you feeling uncomfortable, disempowered, angry, frightened, or hopeless, then this is very likely a message that isn’t aligned with what you need right now.

As you can see, you have a wonderful tool for discerning what is “right” for you.  This tool is your emotions.  How you feel about what you hear is our way of saying “Come this way” or “Don’t go that way.”  All you need to do is pay attention to your feelings. They will often show you “the way” that is right FOR YOU.

We also want to reinforce how important it is for all Lightworkers to consistently work on maintaining their vibration at the highest possible level.  This enables you to beam your light out into the world.  You have all chosen to be here on Earth to serve as lighthouses for those who are feeling lost.  Some of those seeing your light will be ready.  In these situations, you will serve as a beacon that will help them “find their way to the light.”  However, others will not be ready yet, and you can feel secure in letting them go their own path.

We understand that it takes effort to maintain your light in the face of challenging world or personal events.  But this is why you are here at this important time in humanity’s history.  This is part of your life purpose.  Use the skills you have learned to maintain your vibration/light.  Listen to the Divine Guidance being sent to you.  And finally, trust in Divine Order and Divine Timing.

We leave you with peace and love in our hearts.

A final note from Anne about feeling safe

I just wanted to share my observations based on years of watching my students as they try to made decisions regarding the many (often conflicting) messages that they encounter when exploring the metaphysical world.

When evaluating messages and theories, I have noticed that the most important emotion to watch for is fear. For example, let’s say that you are exploring a topic on the internet. As you open a specific website, you might start to feel uncomfortable or even fearful.

When something frightens you, then this information is very likely coming from a source that is not “of the light.” This could be true of information that, you are reading or a lecture/class that you are attending, a podcast that you are listening to, etc.

Pay attention to that uncomfortable or fearful feeling because it will often be your “best” indicator regarding which will result in your vibration lowering and your light dimming.

In alignment with the message above from the Council of 12, I am not here to try to convince you that dark energy exists in the world. However, I have personally come to believe that this is true based on my experiences in the metaphysical field, and I know that I am here, in part, to help people learn how to protect themselves and feel safe when doing metaphysical work.

If you do believe that dark energy exists, then it is important to remember that “the dark” wants you (and those around you) to be frightened. Darkness feeds on the very low vibration of fear. It is like food to them.

Luckily, the message above from the Council of 12 provides you with the guidance you need: The messages you need to hear will uplift you and empower you. Any messages that make you feel otherwise should be avoided.

However, also keep in mind that the information or message that might be uplifting to you actually might be scary to others. Share cautiously and respect the boundaries and beliefs of those around you.

Keep your light shining bright!
