Training sessions

DESCRIPTION

This is an opportunity to receive training with Anne about any topic of interest to you.

Sessions will be conducted VIRTUALLY by phone or via Zoom.

These sessions will be private, and you can meet with Anne either (a) 1-on-1 or (b) with a small group of friends who are interested in the topic being covered. (NOTE: Click here for information about small groups.)

Training sessions are interactive and questions are encouraged! The goal is to support you in developing your spiritual gifts and to help you feel safe as you follow your spiritual path.

POSSIBLE TOPICS

What we talk about is completely up to you! Topics can include any of the skills or subjects that Anne has been teaching in large classroom settings for over 20 years.

When setting up your session, you will be asked what topic(s) you would like to discuss. This is not set in concrete. However, if you are interested in a specific topic, this information will allow Anne to (a) prepare in advance for the training session (e.g., send you handouts) and (b) determine if the subject matter is best suited to using Zoom for your virtual session.

Here are just a few ideas about possible topics. However, the sky’s the limit!

  • Specific questions:
    • “How do I open and/or control my spiritual gifts?”
    • “I had a dream and would like to know how to interpret it.”
    • “How do I best support my child(ren) who are showing signs of spiritual abilities?”
  • Focused skill development:
    • Specific topic or skill (e.g., reading cards, pendulums, crystals, runes, meditation). Although many other topics are options, you may want to review the following page that lists all of Anne’s classes and workshops: All Classes A-Z
    • Beginning- or intermediate-level astrological skills (e.g., how to find the transiting New or Full Moon in your chart, how to read a chart, any topic covered in the Beginning or Intermediate Astrology courses that Anne teaches).
    • Questions about Reiki, Karuna Reiki®, or healing work in general. (NOTE: Anne is unable to offer healings or private Reiki classes at this time.)
  • Broad skill development:
    • How to develop your psychic or mediumship abilities
    • Astrological training
    • Applying Law of Attraction principles and techniques in your life
    • NOTE: If you are interested in more general, on-going training in a specific subject (e.g., developing psychic or mediumship skills), Anne can discuss a possible curriculum during the first session. The topics covered can be tailored to your interests and skill level.
  • Something else?
    • Feel free to ask! Anne will always be honest and let you know if a specific topic is outside her area of expertise.

Mentoring sessions

DESCRIPTION

The difference between a training session (see previous section) and a mentoring session is that mentoring is typically designed for those who are already trained but want to take their skills to the next level by working professionally as a psychic, medium, healer, spiritual teacher, spiritual coach, or astrologer.

Rather than focusing on skill development, a mentoring session is a time to meet with Anne and “pick her brain” about how to create and run a successful small business.

Sessions will be conducted VIRTUALLY by phone or via Zoom.

These sessions will be private, and you can meet with Anne either (a) 1-on-1 or (b) with a small group of friends who are interested in the topic being covered. (NOTE: Click here for information about small groups.)

POSSIBLE TOPICS

As is true with training sessions (see previous section), you get to determine what topics are discussed. Anne understands that your time is valuable, and she wants to make sure she addresses what is important to you!

Here are just a few ideas about possible topics; but again, the sky’s the limit!

  • Deciding whether or not to pursue creating your own business.
  • Learning how to create and run your own profitable business (e.g., legalities, marketing, finances).
  • Discussing how to deal with specific situations (e.g., challenging clients, specific techniques to support those who are grieving).

Information about ALL training and mentoring sessions

HOW SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED

You can (a) meet with Anne 1-on-1 or (b) gather a small group of friends who are interested in the topic being covered. (NOTE: Click here for information about small groups.)

There is a 15-minute minimum, but sessions can be of any length. (NOTE: See prices below.)

You can meet with Anne 1 time, or you can set up a series of 2 or more appointments.

Sessions can occur by phone or via Zoom. However, there are 2 times when Zoom will need to be used:

  • Topic: Some training topics are best served by conducting the session through Zoom (e.g., how to use a pendulum). This technology will allow Anne to share her computer screen with you so you can see what she is teaching you. Anne will let you know this in advance if the topic would be best held through Zoom, and then you can decide if using Zoom is acceptable to you.
  • Small Groups: You can either (a) meet with Anne 1-on-1 or (b) you can choose to gather a small group together for your training/mentoring session. If more than 1 person will be involved, then Zoom will need to be used. (NOTE: Click here for information about small groups.)

NOTES:

SMALL GROUPS

It is fine with Anne if you would like someone else to join the training:

  • There will be an extra $25 charged per person.
  • Small group training will be conducted using Zoom. Phone calls are not an option, but the participants can elect to call into the Zoom session.
  • Because Zoom will be used, those participating in the session do not need to be located in the same geographic area.
  • In order for each person to be included:
    • The fee for the session, including the extra $25 per person, must be paid in advance. However, additional people can be added up to 24 hours before the appointment time (Pacific Time).
    • All participants must agree to (a) be added to our email list and (b) provide us with their phone number. This will permit us to send them emails (e.g., confirmation of payment, send directions/handouts/links to Zoom recording) and/or contact them on short notice.

PRICES FOR TRAINING OR MENTORING SESSIONS

  • 15 minutes – $50
  • 25 minutes – $100
  • 50 minutes – $175
  • 75 minutes – $225
  • 90 minutes – $255 *

ADDITIONAL PRICES

  • Additional Time*: After 90 minutes, each additional 15 minutes will be $35.
  • Small Groups: If you want someone else to join us during the session, then each person will be an additional $25. (NOTE: Click here for additional information about small groups.)
  • Astrological Chart(s): If (a) astrology is the topic being discussed during your training session and (b) you either did not take one of Anne’s astrology courses or have not previously received an astrology reading with Anne, then there will be $15 charge. This fee will cover our time collecting your birth information, creating your chart, and sending you a PDF copy.

NOTES: 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN TRAINING AND MENTORING SESSIONS

All training and mentoring sessions include the following:

  • The morning of your appointment you will be sent the following:
    • A reminder that your session is scheduled for that day.
    • If your session will be occurring on Zoom, then your reminder will include directions for logging into Zoom, including the link and passcode.
    • When appropriate, handouts or manuals will be sent as email attachments.
  • Appointments typically include the following:
    • Initial check-in to make sure we are ready to begin.
    • Topical information and discussion.
    • Time for questions.
  • If Zoom was used during your session, then you will be sent Zoom recordings of your session within 48 hours after your appointment (Pacific Time). This will include both (a) audio only and (b) video.

NOTE:  Although Anne will always share any psychic or mediumship messages that she receives, please understand that these training and mentoring sessions are not meant to be psychic or mediumship readings.

PLEASE READ: Important information about Zoom and recording sessions

The information provided in this section does NOT apply if your session will be conducted over the phone.

The following information DOES apply to the following situations:

  • You are choosing to have your training or mentoring session conducted using Zoom.
  • Zoom is required because your session is meeting as a small group.
  • The topic of your training is best served by using Zoom (e.g., how to read tarot cards).

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Zoom technology allows Anne to:
    • Share her computer screen with you so you both can see what she is discussing or demonstrating.
    • If written material is being covered (e.g., handout), then she can use her mouse to point to areas of the document.
    • Record the appointment and send you links to the recording. (NOTE: See below for more information about Zoom and recording your session.)
  • Directions for how to use Zoom and log in information will be sent via email on the morning of your reading.
    • If you are nervous about using Zoom, it’s actually very easy! Basically, all you’ll need to do is click on the link and enter the passcode that we send you.
  • When a session is conducted using Zoom, then the subject matter being discussed may require that you be in front of a computer (or a viable alternative).
    • If the subject matter that Anne is covering would be better served by using Zoom, that means she will likely be showing you something. In these cases, being in front of a computer (or viable alternative) is important. Without visual access to what Anne is discussing, it may be difficult to understand, although you can review the recording at a later time.
  • If Zoom is used during the the session:
    • You can choose to have your camera on or off. Although she loves seeing people’s faces, only Anne needs to be recorded.
    • However, you will need to turn on your microphone. Anne’s training/mentoring sessions are always very interactive, and she will be asking you questions. Also, you will need to turn on your microphone in order to ask questions about what Anne is sharing.
      • IMPORTANT NOTE: Your payment for the session will serve as your legal agreement to be recorded.
  • Within 48 hours after the session (Pacific Time), you will be sent (a) an audio recording and (b) a video recording.
    • Anne typically covers a great deal of information during your session. For this reason, she encourages everyone to carefully save their recordings. It’s likely that each time you review it, you will hear or see new things and gain new insights.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: Anne will ONLY keep copies of these recordings for 2 WEEKS after your appointment before they are deleted. Therefore, you will have 2 weeks to make sure you safely store the recordings on your computer and/or a viable alternative (e.g., an external hard drive).

YOUR RECORDING IS NOT 100% GUARANTEED – HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO!

  • Although Anne will do everything within her power to ensure that the recording is made through Zoom, she cannot be responsible for technical difficulties. If they occur, she will NOT be able to re-record your session at a later time.
  • Therefore, you are strongly encouraged to use an alternative method to record the session. Here are a few suggestions:
    • VIDEO RECORDING: If you have a tripod (or the equivalent), you can use your smart phone or a video camera to record your computer screen. Be sure your device is (a) close enough to the computer to pick up on the audio portion of the reading and (b) fully charged or plugged in during the recording.
    • AUDIO ONLY: You can use Voice Memo on your computer/tablet or on your smart phone. Be sure your device is (a) close enough to the computer to pick up on the audio portion of the session and (b) fully charged or plugged in during the recording.
    • TAKE NOTES: You may want to do this anyway.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use equipment or a form of technology to record the session, please make sure in advance that you understand how the technology works so it does not take away from the time and focus of the session.

The recordings you receive from Anne or any recording you make of the session is protected under copyright laws.

IMPORTANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT: Once you pay for your session, it is understood that you acknowledge and agree that any manner of recording shall be intended for your personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed for profit, public presentation, or for any media without Anne’s written permission.
